HSKK

The HSK Speaking Test can be divide into three levels of HSKK (Basic), HSKK (Intermediate) and HSKK (Advanced), and the candidates’ on-site performance will be recorded.

HSKK (Basic Level) is comprised of three parts, consist 27 questions in total.

The duration of the test is 20 minutes in total (including 7 minutes for test takers to prepare for Section III).

Test Structure for HSKK (Beginner Level)

Part I consist 15 questions. For each question, test takers will listen to a sentence and should repeat it after listening.

Part II consist 10 questions. For each question, test takers will listen to a question and should give a brief reply after listening.

Part III consist 2 questions. Two questions (with pinyin) are given on the test paper and test takers should answer the questions with at least 5 sentences for each one.

HSKK (Intermediate Level) is comprised of three parts, consist 14 questions in total.

The duration of the test is 23 minutes in total (including 10 minutes for test takers to prepare for Section II and Section III).

Test Structure for HSKK (Intermediate Level)

Part I consist 10 questions. For each item, test takers will listen to a sentence and should repeat it after listening.

Part II consist 2 questions. For each item, a picture is given and test takers should say a paragraph based on the picture.

Part III consist 2 questions. Two questions (with pinyin) are given on the test paper and test takers should answer the questions.

HSKK (Advanced Level) is comprised of three parts, consist 6 questions in total.

Part I consist 3 questions. For each item, test takers will listen to a paragraph and should give a recount after listening.

Part II consist 1 question. A paragraph is given on the test paper and test takers should read it aloud.

Part III consist 2 questions. Two questions are given on the test paper, and test takers should answer the questions after reading them.
